"Ethan, thanks a lot," Katniss said sincerely.

Ethan shrugged it off, putting away his phone. "No problem. Let's get going."

They walked out of the airport, and to Katniss's surprise, a sleek luxury car was waiting for them.

A sharply dressed driver stood by the car. When he saw Ethan, he greeted him with a respectful, "Mr. Anderson."

Katniss glanced at Ethan, who kept a straight face.

"You must be Mr. Anderson's junior. Let me take your luggage. Please, get in the car," the driver said enthusiastically, grabbing Katniss's bags and putting them in the trunk.

Noticing Katniss's unease, Ethan said casually, "Don't overwhelm her."

The driver toned down his enthusiasm, but Katniss still felt a bit uneasy.

Once they were in the car, Ethan mentioned he wanted to rest, and the driver stopped talking.

Despite saying he wanted to rest, Ethan reopened his mobile game and played it idly. Katniss knew Ethan was trying to make her feel comfortable and appreciated his effort.

Although the driver's respect and the luxury car hinted at Ethan's high status, Katniss wasn't particularly curious about others. She whispered a thank you to Ethan, and they barely exchanged words.

At lunchtime, Ethan knocked on Katniss's door and took her to the restaurant.

After lunch, Ethan returned to his room, saying he would find her before they left the next day.

After Ethan left, Katniss received a call from Brent and chatted with him for a bit.

She sent Maximilian the hotel address and soon got a call from him.

They chatted peacefully and sweetly.

Meanwhile, in Luminous City, Desmond boarded a plane to Starhaven.

He was going to Starhaven to lay low.
