Drunk and Daring I Kissed a Tycoon

Chapter 346

Vespera pulled her hand back and settled into the swing. "I'm tired. I'm not walking anymore."

Dominic placed the shopping bags aside and moved behind her, gently pushing

the swing.

Each time it swung back, he caught her, seizing the opportunity to start a conversation. "I went back home for a bit."

Vespera instinctively tightened her grip on the ropes.

As the swing carried her outward, her mind floated with the motion, unable to find its footing.noveldrama

But just then, Dominic's hand rested at her waist, pulling her back toward him. His voice came softly in her ear, "I told my mom you were scared. I'll make sure she stops sending Nancy to bother you."

Vespera looked up at him, her eyes wide with surprise.

Dominic leaned down, gently pressing a soft kiss to her furrowed brow. "Don't be scared, just listen to me.

"After I spoke with her, my mom told me she had no idea about Nancy's return. It wasn't her decision. Nancy insisted on coming back on her own, and my mom said she couldn't exactly stop her.

"I guess that makes sense. The government can't just restrict personal freedom, so we shouldn't be too overbearing. If she wants to come back, let her-it's no big deal.

"But I did have my mom pass on a message-Nancy can't treat you badly. If she does, it's like she's going against me, and that's something I won't tolerate."

With that, Dominic kissed the corner of her eye.

Vespera's eye tingled where his lips had brushed against it.

That warmth stirred something deep within her, a burning sensation in her chest. But underneath it all, there was a heavy, suffocating ache.

"Why bring this up at home?" she asked, her gaze softening. "If you keep saying things like that, your parents will only get more suspicious and think I'm trying to seduce you."

"Well, you're a cold, ruthless woman. If they think you're trying to seduce me, then fine. Leave. Let them believe you're just toying with me."

"I wouldn't dare be that bold."

Dominic gently ran his fingers through her hair. "It's fine, you can be a little bold. Just don't overthink things or put too much pressure on yourself. These are small matters.

"A rich, beautiful woman like you has nothing to worry about. If anyone bothers you, just let me know, and I'll take care of it. You don't have to fear anything."

Vespera paused, her expression turning serious. "Alright."

His earnestness struck a chord with her, and she didn't want to deflate his confidence.

The handsome young man she once knew had never been one to second-guess himself.

Men were truly simple creatures. Even someone as sharp as Dominic was acting like a child at that moment.

He needed attention-if she didn't give it to him, he wouldn't stop until she did.

They kissed again, unable to pull away from each other.

"Let's go somewhere else," Vespera finally said, gently pushing him away.

She grabbed the shopping bags and led him forward.

After Dominic helped her into the car, she started the engine and drove off.

Dominic laughed. "It's already been half an hour. Aren't you going to head home and rest?"

"Half an hour? It's only been two minutes."

Vespera tapped the clock on the dashboard with a confident air, as if she were the one who had the time all figured out.

Vespera drove out of the community and into the dense forest, where the trees

She switched off the headlights.

In a flash, the world before her disappeared into utter darkness.

Without hesitation, she slid into the passenger seat and onto Dominic's lap, her face inches from his.

Her soft lips brushed against his, and in a whisper, she said, "Dominic, I like you too."

She kissed him once more, her lips pressing firmly against his as she took the lead, drawing him closer.

The kiss was full of passion... He was simply irresistible.

The temperature in the car soared.
