"You're dead! You hear me?!"

Sean was furious. He grabbed the phone on his desk and barked into it, "Get every damn security guard up here, now! Bring weapons!"

He glared at Dustin with a murderous expression after hanging up.

"You b*stard! One punch from you, and I'll pay you back a hundredfold. You'll be lucky if I only break a few bones. Just wait!"

"Why would I wait around for that?" Dustin scoffed. He was anything but intimidated.

Then, without hesitation, he raised his hand and delivered a crisp slap across Sean's face.

"You..." Sean did not expect Dustin to be this calm and attacked him again.

Slap!

Another slap followed, and like the last one, Sean did not manage to dodge it. The sound of the slap echoed through the office.

Sean let out a pained howl as several teeth flew out from his mouth. Half of his face was swollen, while the other half was bruised.

Blood was streaming down his mouth and nose. He was in pain and enraged.

He did not understand how Dustin could slap with such force.

All he knew was that he was slapped by a b*stard in his own office, and this would be an utter humiliation if people found out!

"B*stard! You'll regret this..." he gasped in rage.

Sean knew that he was no match for Dustin, but the company's security would be here any second.

A dozen guards would burst through the door. There was no way Dustin could handle that many men.

Sean was already envisioning his revenge.

Dustin lifted Sean off the floor with one hand.

"And you call yourself someone I can't afford to offend?" he said mockingly.

"B*stard..." Sean looked vicious. "You're nothing but the last scrap of a dead family. Anyone can walk all over you.

"You think brute strength is enough? You actually dared to lay a hand on Alex, and now, you're coming after me too? What gives you such confidence? Who do you have to back you up? You don't know your place...

"Just wait. My men are almost here. When they arrive, I'll cripple you myself. And trust me, the Yeager family won't give a damn because your life is totally worthless."

Dustin smirked and suddenly swung his hand.

Smack!

A hard slap landed on the other side of Sean's face and left it swollen to match the first.

The pain was excruciating, and his vision was blurred for a moment.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

An urgent knock came from outside the office.

"Mr. Lloyd! Mr. Lloyd!" shouted a voice.

Sean's eyes lit up.

"Yes! My men are here!" A triumphant sneer spread across his bruised face. "You're done for, you piece of trash!

"Even if you got on your knees and begged me now, it wouldn't change a thing. You're leaving this place in a stretcher."

He turned toward the door and shouted viciously, "What the hell are you knocking for? Kick the damn door down!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The guards outside immediately began ramming the door as ordered.

Patricia stood aside. Her heart was pounding.

"Did Dustin lock himself in there and beat up the general manager of this construction materials company? What do we do now?"

She could not figure out what to do.

This construction materials company was one of the largest construction materials companieszin Rivenesco. There was no way the Yeager family would help Dustin. If this escalated, he would have no way out.

"What's wrong? Getting scared now?" His confidence was back. "Trying to keep a straight face, but inside, you're trembling, aren't you?"

Dustin remained expressionless and stared at him with an eerie calm.

"The only thing you have to your name is the general manager position in a construction materials company," he said. "And yet, you act like you rule the world. What a joke!"

"You're the joke!" Sean barked. "I run a major construction materials company! And you? The Yeager family doesn't even acknowledge you! You grovel at their feet like a dog and get nothing in return."

"There are hierarchies in this world, Dustin. And someone like me? I have a thousand ways to destroy you."

Dustin smiled and tossed Sean to the floor.

The pounding at the door grew louder. It seemed like it would not hold much longer.

Dustin stepped forward and planted a foot on Sean's chest. Sean curled up in pain.

"You think you're qualified to stand up for Alex?" His voice was filled with contempt.

"You b*stard! I swear I'll kill you!" Sean roared as he struggled to get up. Dustin's foot was like a boulder pressing down on him and made it impossible to move. Even breathing

became difficult.

"Do you believe me when I say I could destroy you with a single word?" Dustin said.

"You?" Sean's face was filled with mockery.

"You, a worthless disgrace from a fallen family, think you can take me down with a single sentence? Who the hell do you think you are? Do you even know your place? You must be out of your damn mind."

Dustin glared at him and pulled out his phone. He dialed a number.

The call was answered almost instantly.

"My Liege, what are your orders?" said a respectful voice from the other end.

"Are you familiar with Davis Construction Materials in Hattan city center?" Dustin asked coldly.
