My Love Until the Last Goodbye (Mary and Maximus)

Chapter 1028

After a few more dances here and there, the happy couple finally made their

grand exit, heading off to their honeymoon-where Alden had a special surprise waiting for his new wife.

Amid applause, cheers, and well wishes, they bid everyone farewell and left the venue.

Ethan was originally supposed to stay with Peter, but in a last-minute change of plans, he asked to spend the night at the Bartz house with John. After all, there was a lot to plan and organize before both boys moved to Hesperia.

Slowly, guests either returned to the party or began leaving, like Theodore, Fiona, and Adam, as well as Aurora and her family.

Matthew was sitting comfortably when Theodore suddenly approached him with a grin.

"Matthew, you old fossil! I pictured you sipping cocktails on some tropical beach. Glad to see you made it here," Theodore teased.

"Theodore! What a miracle! I thought you had kicked the bucket by now. I mean, we are the same age..." Matthew shot back.

"Not yet I'm younger than you. Look, let me introduce you to my wife and son."

Matthew blinked a few times in surprise, then turned to the woman on Theodore's arm and the young man extending his hand.

"Well, well! What an extraordinary surprise! You got married?" Matthew stood up, genuinely impressed. "And look at this young man-he's your spitting image!"

"Yeah, no denying it," Theodore chuckled. "Now don't disappear on us again. I know you came to this wedding, but this guy here"-he gestured toward Maximus -"still needs his two old men around."

"Since when did you get so sentimental, Theodore?" Matthew raised an eyebrow.

"Since I have a family of my own and know how important it is to keep them close. You and I both know that, in our world, building a family is rare-it's difficult. So don't waste what you have here." Theodore's voice was softer now, filled with sincerity.

After their brief conversation, Theodore made his way to Peter to say goodbye before heading out.

Meanwhile, Peter and Celeste went to pick up their daughters. It was time for them to leave as well. Celeste, however, couldn't take her eyes off the man who had just proposed to her with the most stunning ring she had ever seen in her life.noveldrama

Aria, Danielle, and Ellie were already waiting in the car. Little Ellie had finally surrendered to exhaustion-the elegant little doll had fallen into Morpheus' arms after such an eventful day.

"Alright, Flora and Martina are all set. Now, my lovely ladies, let's go home," Peter said, settling into the driver's seat.

"As for our little stowaway," he

added with a chuckle, "he's decided to spend the night at Marcus's with John. Apparently, my grandson and his best friend have important business to discuss, and I wouldn't dare interrupt such a serious pajama party."

"Are you sure he'll be okay?" Aria asked, concerned.

"Relax, Mom! He'll be fine. Besides, we have to start getting used to it. Once they

move to Hesperia, we won't see them as often." Peter reassured her.

"Okay, okay... Pass me the girls so we can get them settled," Aria said, reaching for the babies.

"Danielle, Aria, did you enjoy yourselves?" Celeste asked as they tucked the little ones in.

"It was amazing!" Danielle answered enthusiastically.

"I'm so glad! That makes me really happy," Celeste said sincerely.

Coming from a small town, she had seen plenty of weddings before—but never one like this. A wedding where you truly went all out. And Magnus' windows

house? It had a lot o

throw things out of, so she

completely understood why Aria and Danielle were so impressed.

"Alright, my lovely ladies, it's time to go home. My little princesses

probably won't wake up until tomorrow. The nanny Magnus hired said they hadn't been asleep for long they woke up earlier and spent their time playing and babbling."

"These two are going to start talking so fast," Aria said, gazing down at the sleeping girls.

"Imagine what they'll say when they do! These little ones are going to drive their dad insane," Danielle joked as she carefully tucked them in.

"They already drive him insane," Celeste added with a knowing laugh.

As Peter drove, he glanced at the rearview mirror and smiled. His mind drifted to the memories he still had.

Looking at his car, now filled with women of all ages, he felt something he never thought he'd have peace.
