My Substitute CEO Bride

Chapter 2502

Harkin stood atop the wall and looked down at the four people before her. To her, they were no more than ants who she could easily crush at will. She unleashed her red true energy and from it, the group could immediately tell the terrifying amount of energy she possessed.

Within mere seconds, the sky within a radius of dozens of meters turned a deep, ominous red.

Kalo was beginning to feel the effects and was growing more agitated and restless. "This true energy... What on earth is happening?!"

Harkin opened her pitch-black eyes and activated her ability. "Crimson Infestation!"

Humans were driven by emotions-joy, anger, sorrow, and so on. Harkin's power allowed her to manipulate a person's strongest emotion and amplify it to the extreme.

In Kalo's case, he was known for his cheerful yet quick-tempered nature. Harkin could magnify his anger, making it easier to control him.

"Damn it! What is this freak staring at?!" Now under her influence, Kalo began cursing incessantly at Harkin before turning to Chevy.

"What are you looking at?! You think I won't gouge your eyes out-"

Kalo suddenly fell to his knees, his body trembling uncontrollably.

"What just happened... What's going on?"

Even Harkin was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.

"What's going on? Someone is interfering with my true energy?" Harkin's eyes narrowed as she looked at Enid, who was curled up on the ground behind the others. "That girl clearly fell under my spell. I didn't expect the old entity inside her to still have some power left."

Indeed, it was the Mother of Immortals within Enid who had disrupted Harkin's ability. However, the scope of her interference was limited, and Kalo's momentary clarity quickly gave way to anger once again as he marched toward Chevy.noveldrama

"Are you deaf? Didn't you hear me?!"

Chevy shoved Kalo away. "Get lost! I've got enough on my mind without you adding to it. Stop bothering me!"

"What did you say?!" Kalo threw a fist at Chevy, but she dodged. The next moment, she started scratching her head frantically.

"Damn it! Stop thinking! Stop it already!" Chevy yelled, slapping her head repeatedly, trying to shake off the anxiety that had taken root due to Harkin's power. Her mind was racing as it overanalyzed every trivial detail from her past. She was being consumed by worry.

The two of them were now locked in an escalating argument, hurling insults and blows at one another. Meanwhile, in the corner, Enid remained silent, too terrified to speak.

"This is so scary... These two... This place... Help... Someone, please help me..." Enid trembled uncontrollably, hugging her knees as tears streamed down her face. A single leaf blew by, and it startled her into sobbing even harder. "Ah! Help! Don't kill me, don't kill me!"

Standing atop the wall, Harkin looked down with satisfaction at the chaos she had created. "Not bad. Looks like these kids will no longer pose a threat. The Mother of Immortals' power is also starting to fade. Looks like there's nothing left to worry about."

Harkin grinned as the three squirmed below her. "The Wood family's child, the vessel of the Mother of Immortals, and the boy from the Dune family... Wait, hold on... Isn't there supposed to be four of them?"

Suddenly, she heard a booming voice above.

"Formation of the Hundred Horses!"

Before Harkin could react, Teresa had appeared directly overhead, her staff in hand.
