No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 433

Blake gripped Xenia's neck, his rage consuming him. At this moment, he wanted nothing more than to strangle Xenia to death. He had opposed Donovan's decision to bring the driver's daughter into the Liddell family from the very

beginning. And now, she had indeed become a curse.noveldrama

Noelle had run away from home and severed ties with the family. Blake was sure Xenia's manipulation played a huge role in it. Xenia's face turned blue as she struggled for air, unable to utter a single word.

The manager reminded Blake, "Let go, quickly! What if she dies?"

It was only then that Blake released his grip. Xenia gasped desperately for air, her throat and lungs burning with pain.

For a moment, she truly thought she was going to die. If murder weren't illegal, Blake would have killed her already.

Xenia stammered, "Blake... I was young and naive and said the wrong thing. Please don't hold it against me."

"Beg." Blake's icy gaze bore into her as he pulled out his phone and started recording. "Apologize to Noelle. Explain everything to her. Show her your sincerity. Otherwise, I'll make sure you live in agony."

Xenia clutched her dress tightly in resentment. She hated this. If only she could contact her father, he could just kill Blake and be done with it.

Earlier, Donovan had known Blake would resort to violence, yet he still made her apologize. The Liddell family was treating her worse and worse. She needed to find a way out—it was time to meet her father, who had come back from the dead.

Seeing Xenia remain silent, Blake slapped her hard. "Didn't you hear me? I told you to apologize! Are you deaf?"

Xenia's head spun from the slap. The pain was excruciating.

She had no choice but to hold her cheek. Her voice was filled with forced submission. "What happened back then was my fault. I shouldn't have lied.

"Noelle, please forgive me. It was my mistake. This isn't Blake's fault. It's all on me. I tricked him."

Blake grabbed her hair, yanking her head up. "I told you to speak to the camera. Why are you looking down? Say it again."

Xenia almost screamed from the pain, but she dared not resist. She had seen how ruthless Blake was when he hit Noelle. It was only after beating Xenia that Blake felt relieved.

He kicked her aside. "Don't think that you can take Noelle's place as the Liddell family's heiress just because you're the driver's daughter. Stop dreaming. You will always be an outsider. At best, you'd be a pet to us."

Xenia lowered her head with a dark gaze. She would get revenge. Blake wouldn't get away with this.

Blake turned to the driver. "Stop the car."

The vehicle came to a halt. Blake looked at Xenia in disgust. "Get out. I'm giving you one day to apologize to Noelle and earn her forgiveness. Otherwise, I'll make sure you suffer everything she has gone through."

"I... I understand." Xenia scrambled out of the car, even losing one of her high heels in the process.

Blake threw it out the window as if he were tossing scraps to a beggar. Xenia picked up her shoe and clutched it tightly. It was an expensive designer brand, after all.

She watched Blake's car drive away, her mind made up. The Liddell family was siding with Noelle, and she needed a backup plan.

Immediately, Xenia made a call.

Once, she thought she would forever be the kiddell family's daughter and never needed to involve herself with her

thather after replacing Noelle, but

things had changed.

The call connected, and a middle-aged man's voice came through. "My dear daughter, what do you need my help with this time?"

"Let's meet up," Xenia said coldly. "I'm reconsidering your proposal. Let's work together to drain the Liddell family of everything they have."

Her body was covered in bruises, but her hatred burned deep. She would make the brothers who looked down on her regret everything.

One day, they would beg at her feet.

Sean grinned. "Good. Let's meet now. I'm available. Follow the instructions I'll send you. Make sure no one follows you."

"You're overthinking it. No one cares enough to follow me. The Liddell family never truly valued me. Your 'death' didn't earn their loyalty." Xenia's voice trembled with anger.

She had endured years of humiliation, lowering herself to fit into the Liddell family.

Yet these brothers began regretting everything the moment Noelle left.

Xenia hated it. She had done far more than Noelle ever did, so why did no one acknowledge her efforts?

"I'm glad you've finally come to your senses." Sean sounded pleased. "I told you not to be blinded by sentiment, but you insisted on siding with the Liddell family. "See where that got you? Now, you've suffered. But remember, we are still family."
