The CEO's Mischievous Little Bride

Chapter 695 Cried Several Times

Later, Molly slapped Sebastian, and that slap seemed to straighten him out.

Lying on Molly's bed, Sebastian couldn't fall asleep. Molly leaned against the bed, watching him with a stern look. "Close your eyes."

Sebastian kept trying to touch Molly, but each time his hand was swatted away. "Go to sleep, close your eyes!"

Sebastian finally closed his eyes and managed to doze off.

Since he was staying at The Olteran Manor, Sebastian didn't have any clothes there, so he naturally slept naked. Molly couldn't do much about it this time.

Sebastian's clothes were strewn on the bed. Molly tidied them up and placed them on the single sofa at the foot of the bed. She sat by the bed, watching over Sebastian until he fell asleep, then quietly left the room to call Ellie. "Mom, has Sebastian been home these past few days?"

"With you not at home, do you think he'd come back? If it weren't for needing to shower and change clothes, he could go a whole year without coming home."

"So, he's been staying at work all night?" Molly was shocked, pointing at her bedroom door, her voice rising as if Ellie were right in front of her.

Ellie frowned. "Sebastian didn't come to see you?"

"He did, but I didn't let him stay." Molly's voice trailed off. "Is he crazy?" She muttered, not sure who she was more upset with, and angrily hung up the phone.

Returning to the bedroom, Molly found Sebastian already asleep. She approached the bed, wanting to punch him in the stomach. "Sebastian, you're such a two-faced jerk, pretending to be a tragic heroine to trick me. Hurting yourself on purpose to make me feel sorry for you, you scumbag."

Sebastian stirred slightly, and Molly immediately fell silent, feeling both heartache and anger.

She was also mad at herself for being so weak.

At noon, the housekeeper prepared lunch and called everyone to eat, but in the end, only Cindy and Vincent were in the living room.

"Where is everyone else?" Cindy asked.

The housekeeper replied, "They're all asleep."

"Ms. Olteran isn't sleeping, but Mr. Chase is, and Ms. Olteran doesn't want him disturbed."

"Then let Molly come down to eat."

"Ms. Olteran said she'll wait for Mr. Chase to wake up and eat together."

Cindy wanted to ask more, but Vincent patted her hand. "It's okay, Cindy. Let's eat. They can eat when they wake up. We probably can't wake them anyway."

Cindy sighed. "Let's call Susan and Randall back. Otherwise, all this food will go to waste with just the two of us."

Randall, hearing that Cindy was worried about wasting food, stubbornly said, "I'm not eating!"

He hung up the phone and turned to Susan. "Let's go, we're eating out."

Mentioning food, Susan finally stopped playing with water and excitedly followed Randall out.

Vera slept until around three in the afternoon, nestled in Patrick's arms.

The messy bedroom, with sunlight streaming in, highlighted Vera's smooth skin, dotted with red marks. Scattered on the floor were her delicate dress and his shirt, evidence of what had transpired.

Patrick's broad arm had become her pillow, and he liked to hold the soft Vera even in his sleep, whether she liked it or not.

"Vera, you've already upset me once today."

So, Vera automatically rolled into Patrick's arms.

She felt quite pathetic.

Barely half an hour later, a rapid knock on the door woke them, followed by Shawn's urgent voice. "Hurry up, it's driving me nuts. Whoever's kid it is, take care of them. The crying is unbearable."

Teddy's wailing could be heard through the door.

Patrick opened the door, took Teddy with one hand, and shut the door without a word.

Shawn was speechless.

Teddy, now in Patrick's arms, had his tears wiped away.

Vera, already awake, said, "Teddy, stop crying. If you keep it up, you'll flood the room with your tears."

Teddy, now in Vera's arms, opened his mouth, waiting to be fed.

Vera didn't feed him, so he continued crying.

Once fed, Teddy happily sucked away.

"Patrick, if you and your son keep torturing me for another week, I'll lose ten pounds. Do you believe that?"

Patrick looked at Vera's figure, lost in thought.

In the afternoon, after Teddy was full, Patrick heartlessly took him away to be looked after by someone else.

Vincent and Cindy were delighted to have Teddy handed over to them.

Soon, Sebastian came downstairs alone.

"Where's Molly?" Cindy asked.

Sebastian smiled. "Still asleep."

Molly, lost in thought on the sofa, had fallen asleep. When Sebastian woke up, he found her curled up on the sofa and carried her to the bed. Already awake, Sebastian couldn't resist lying beside her for a while longer.

The housekeeper went to prepare lunch, and Teddy ended up in Sebastian's arms again.

Sebastian pinched Teddy's chin. "Do you want to talk to me?"noveldrama

Cindy, watching from the side, said, "Sebastian will definitely be a great dad someday."

Sebastian smiled modestly. "I don't even know when I'll get to be a father." Molly's current attitude left him uncertain.

"Kids come when they're meant to. You and Molly are still young. Enjoy a few more years together before planning for children," Cindy advised.

Sebastian let Teddy's warm little hand grasp his finger. "Teddy, do you think Molly loves me?"

"You don't know either, huh?"

At six, Molly, brushing her hair, greeted Vera, who had just woken up.

Both yawned as they went downstairs, seeing everyone gathered in the living room. Susan and Randall had returned, and Susan had eaten a lot of the cherries they bought on the way.

Teddy, who had cried countless times, was now sitting obediently on the sofa next to Patrick. No one could hold him; he would sit alone for a while, then be held by Patrick, and then continue his "sitting" training.

Earlier, Teddy's crying had caused another argument between Shawn and Patrick. When Vera came downstairs, she instinctively picked up Teddy. Only when Vera held the baby did Patrick's rules not apply.

Teddy, in Vera's arms, pouted, looking very aggrieved.

Molly habitually found a seat next to Sebastian. When Randall was sitting there, he wisely moved to give her space.

Molly sat next to Sebastian.

"Is everyone free tomorrow? I know someone who owns a cherry orchard. The cherries

are ripe now. We could take Teddy and Susan to pick some cherries," Sebastian suggested, noticing Susan's love for cherries.

Shawn looked at Teddy, who was still pouting in Vera's arms. "Susan can help, but

Teddy is too young. He won't even eat them."

Vera chimed in, "Dad, don't be such a killjoy. Going to the cherry orchard isn't just about eating cherries. Someone here is starting work next week, and the main point is to take her out for some fun. We're just the entourage!"
