The Night I Let Go

Chapter 26

"Zachary, you suddenly seem even more charming! I think I've fallen even harder for you!" Ellen exclaimed.

Sitting across from Zachary, Ellen's eyes sparkled as she stared intently at him.

But in the next second, Zachary collapsed onto the table with a loud thud, knocking over his glass.

Ellen was at a loss for words. She then covered her mouth and stifled a laugh.

...

The night was as dark as ink.

Before dawn broke, Zachary woke up. To be precise, the urge to pee after drinking too much beer had woken him up.

Feeling like his bladder was about to burst, he quickly sat up without thinking. It wasn't until he sat up that he realized he wasn't in his own room.

However, something about this room felt oddly familiar.

Wasn't this Ellen's room?noveldrama

Zachary shook his head, and the memory of the previous night hit him hard.

When he turned his head, he saw Ellen lying next to him.

Ellen had a light blanket draped over her. Her fair shoulders were exposed.

Zachary wasn't sure if Ellen was completely unclothed under the blanket.

Feeling a sudden sharp pain in his bladder, Zachary didn't dare to wait any longer. He rushed to the bathroom as quickly as he could.

After relieving himself, he let out a slow breath of relief.

His head was still slightly foggy. After using the bathroom, he quietly found his clothes and put them back on before leaving.

Upon leaving Ellen's residential area, Zachary took out his phone and realized that it had been turned off. He couldn't understand why Ellen had that habit of turning off Other people's phones.

Once he turned on his phone, notifications of missed calls and messages flooded the screen.

Before he could check them, a red Ferrari suddenly pulled up in front of him. The moment he looked up, he met eyes with Anya, who was driving the car.

Anya's hair was casually tied back, and she was wearing a sexy black silk camisole nightgown. Her skin was fair and smooth. Below her graceful swan-like neck was a deep cleavage.

As soon as he laid his eyes on her, he was captivated.

Zachary spaced out momentarily but quickly snapped out of it. He opened the car door and got into the car.

Before he could buckle up, Anya stepped on the accelerator and sped off into the distance.

The sudden acceleration startled Zachary. As his heart raced, the alcohol instantly cleared from his system.

"Are you crazy?"

Still shaken, Zachary turned to glare at Anya.

Anya kept a straight face and remained silent until they reached the villa. Only then did she speak sternly, "Mr. Lloyd, I've told you before that all those women out there are trouble. They'll only hurt you. They just want your body. Why won't you listen?"

Zachary stared at her in confusion. He had no idea why she was telling him such things.

As an adult, of course he could tell who the good people were from the bad ones. "This had better be the last time. If it happens again, I won't care anymore." With that, Anya aggressively opened the car door and stormed into the villa. "Who's supposed to be the boss here, anyway?" Zachary asked.
