The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Seeing the look on her face, Bernard wouldn't dare try to go close to her, he knew better not to abuse her especially now that she was the Alpha.

"Do you think you defeated Adam because you are strong?" Veronica laughs "You were just fortunate, the moon must have been by your side"

"Moon" Alexandra smiles. "Fortunate?" The smile wipes off her face. "I knocked him on the ground, he was lying like a dog when I left him"

"Is that what is puffing you up?" Bernard ask

"I'm merely celebrating"

"You think because you won, you are better than him than us but you want to know the truth Alexandra, you are better than no one. If I had my way you wouldn't be allowed to exist, not in this life or the next life"

"I see but now that I do, what are you going to do?"

"You are asking me?"

"You brought it up so is only right that I ask you"

"I will expose you and make sure you don't exist"

"Expose me" Alexandra scoffs trailing her eyes towards Olivia, it was obvious it was her line. "That line has becomes rather used too often that is starting to feel as though it been rehearsed"

Bernard chuckles grabbing the glass of chilled water which has now turned hot and gulps it down, still couldn't believe lost to the daughter he dislikes so much.

Going the extra mile, Bernard had a perfect plan with Adam that would make him to still be recognized anywhere he goes but all that was shattered as well in a moment. Lowering to the seat, he couldn't believe that his years of hard work to reach where he was been derailed because Alexandra had chosen to take part in the ceremony instead of sitting at home.

"This is all your fault" He stares at the glass for a moment and throws it against the wall, running his hand through his disheveled hair, frustrated.

"Here we go again" she yawns, bored. "What is this? A crucification! First, it was you" she points to Olivia, and then is you" she points to Bernard. "Do you honestly think I care about your little drama?"

"I will never forget this day"

"And so? What's it to me if you forget or not? Do I look like I want you to forget"

"The nerve of you to speak that way to your father" Veronica states causing Alexandra to chuckle

"Father? Please don't say that it makes you sound worse than a hypocrite" "What?"noveldrama

"How dare you speak to my mother in that manner"

"Shut your mouth Olivia, when Alpha and Luna are speaking, a beta should know her place and keep silent. That is the code"

"I see you are already showing off your power"

"What's wrong with that? Wouldn't you have done the same if Adams had won, I bet you would have wangled your way up into his side and up to his bed, that's why you were meeting unethically right?"

"Shut your mouth!" Olivia yells

"Or what? I want to know what you all can do to me. Do you guys that just because three of you are together, I'll be terrified" Alexandra scoffs.

They were stupid to believe that their number would make her scared, although it did at first when she talked to Nathaniel, she realized he was right. Alexandra Guerrero was a fearless werewolf and now she was the Alpha, she was more daring and fearless, nothing scared her and everything felt as though the world was under her feet.

"What are you going to do to me? Will you tell me to go and do the dishes, Veronica"

Veronica gasped, that was a blow to her face, Alexandra maybe Alpha but no one dared called her by her name, and Alexandra was crossing the line and stepping on her toes.

"How dare you?" She clenches her jaw causing Alexandra to hiss.

"You don't have to be pissed, I can't call you mom since you said that you are not my mother and I don't can address you as Luna since you already lost that title so the only thing I can address you as is Veronica"

"Alexandra!" Veronica states aloud

"Why are you yelling? Tell me if far fetched from the truth"

"I knew you were going to show your true colors soon" Veronica states unfazed

"Just as you showed yours a long time ago, am I correct, or did you think I was going to forget about it all? You're insane if you had thought such"

"You have no idea who you are messing with"

"Really who am I messing with?"

"You don't know who I am or what I have done? You don't know me Alexandra" Veronica clenches her jaw, pissed off

"What exactly have you? Hire rogues to beat someone up or perhaps hire mobs" she locks eyes with Olivia and she gasped, not sure if Alexandra had figured out what she done. It had already been weeks and she had forgotten about it, the only reason it lingered in her mind was that she had a rift with Adam the last time they spoke and it involved those mobs she hired.

"You are a snake Alexandra Guerrero" Olivia whispers.

"Just like you, am I right? That was why you went to sink your teeth next to Adam

so he would win and just like your mother you would become the Luna but what you didn't realize is that you made a foolish gamble"

"Shut your mouth, Alexandra, don't you dare talk about Olivia in that manner" Bernard glares at her

"I don't have the right to talk to her in that manner but she can talk to me however

she wishes" Alexandra chuckles "Aren't you hilarious?"

"As if? What can you do to me now? I'm the Alpha"

"You think becoming the Alpha is going to change anything"

"Isn't it?"

"You are a fool," Olivia says.

She knew being the Alpha was difficult and Alexandra had no experience since

Bernard thought her nothing about being an Alpha.

"Just like you but the only difference is you made yourself a bigger fool by imagining you were going to be the Luna staying by Adam's side"

"Keep Olivia out of your mouth" Bernard glares

"Or what?" Alexandra dares "Tell me, Father, what lame tactics are you intending to use this time? You are not even the Alpha so which means you have no power to command the guards or anything. You're just useless to the pack so what exactly can you do to me?" Alexandra smirks, she never thought she would see this day. "But here's something funny Father, just a snap of my finger would send the guards storming inside here, and guess what they will do?" She laughs running her hand through her hair. "I bet you already know the answer to that"

"You are not fit for that position"

"And so? If you could sit on it then I can seat on it. You should have stepped down when I told you to, maybe you would have still had power still have a little power but you choose to be arrogant and stubborn, and now look where it got you. Exactly where you belonged"

"Do you think losing my title means anything to me?"

"Of course it does"

"You are unbelievable Alexandra, I thought you were smart until now. You are dumb just like your mother" He states causing Alexandra to stiffen.

In a million years, Alexandra never thought he would result in such petty ways, calling her mother had hit a nerve and for a moment, Alexandra just couldn't move any part of her body.

"I still remember how she came about" Bernard scoffs when the memories jump into his mind, glancing up and down Alexandra's body, she had a striking resemblance with her mother, so Bernard couldn't ever forget his first Luna.

"Don't you dare cross the line?"

"Isn't that what you did to Olivia and Veronica"

Alexandra clenches her jaw, Bernard was biting more than he could swallow by dragging her dead mother into their conversation. Pushing her to her very limit and challenging her and Alexandra was just ready for them.

"How dare you?" She chuckles trying to hide the pain in her heart but Bernard knew he had hit a nerve.

He has always known that talking about her mother was a delicate part of her life and Alexandra would never want to talk about her nor hear anyone say her name but Bernard would always drag that part of her life whenever they were talking. It was something that has turned into a habit and he wasn't ever going to stop it. It was the only weakness Alexandra had and the only thing he thought he could use to cripple her.

"Do you know how shameless that woman was?"

"Shut your mouth" Alexandra glares

"When I told you to shut your mouth you didn't, now is your turn to listen while I

tell you all about your wretched mother and her pathetic clan. It was a good thing

she took her own life otherwise I would have done it myself"

"Father? I don't consider you my daughter, you are not a daughter to me and you

will never be one. I would rather not have a daughter than have you as a

daughter"

"Who wants you as a father? What good thing has come out of your being a father?" Alexandra asks "Let's see, you have bald hair which is not how I envisioned the kind of father I want, you have a wide nose which makes me wonder how many insects must crwal up while you slept. My father would have a pointed nose that turns heads when he walks past but your head can't possibly turn since you have a long neck like a giraffe"

"What? You insolent brat. Being the Alpha doesn't mean that I can't still beat you"

"Try it and I promise you, you will face something worse than Adam Hawthorn. You might not even wake up"

"Of course, you are weaker, at least that I am very certain about. No wonder you couldn't lead the Guerrero pack and there were a lot of whispers all around" "Whispers? Stop making up stories, no one buying that"

"You're deceitful that's why you think everyone is like you. Do you know what they call you? Incompetent Alpha, while others say that you are the worse Alpha Guerrero pack has ever had. Can you believe that?

She couldn't stand being your mate, she has always thought whole this whole mate thing was a little barbaric and she didn't believe it and you just proved her right" Memories of her mom jumps into her mind and Alexandra blinks her eyes, she wouldn't dare want to let the tears brim down her cheeks and show any form of weakness right before them

"She couldn't stand me, I couldn't stand her and just like that, I can't stand you either! Staying by her side was suffocating and each day I imagined jabbing a dagger into her chest while she slept"

Hearing that Alexandra feels her anger burst, her eyes darkens and she advances towards. Bernard gawks at her, unfazed wondering what was running through her mind, the doorbell rings causing Alexandra to halt. Olivia goes to get the door.
