Wallace bellowed coldly, You bastard! Wilfred was hit by Wallaces words as if struck by lightning.

A cold wave swept over Wilfred, causing him to shake.

Desperately, he urged Amelie, Hurry! Finish him! Kill him now! When Amelie hesitated, he seized the gun from her hand and aimed it at Wallace.

Just as he pulled the trigger, both he and Amelie felt cold steel press against their backs.

I wont be responsible for an accidental discharge! Keith warned as he and Trent appeared behind them. The threat made Wilfred and Amelie freeze in place.

Give it to me! Keith said as he took the gun from Wilfred and tossed it to Hannah, who was seated nearby.

Despite looking pale, Wallace maintained his composure and said, Wilfred, I never imagined youd exploit my misfortune for your own gain! With the gun trained on him, Wilfreds bravado vanished, and he began to plead for mercy, saying, Wallace, this has nothing to do with me! Desperate, he pointed at Amelie.

It was all her plan.

It doesnt matter now.

Before she could act, Keith swiftly fired three shots! Bang! Bang! Bang! Amelies eyes widened as her strength drained from her body, and she collapsed to the ground, blood pooling beneath her.

Hannahs heart sank.

She glanced at Keith, who was visibly shaken by what he had done.

Terrified by Amelies death, Wilfred fell to his knees, pleading, Wallace, dont kill me! It wasnt my plan! I was just a pawn! I couldnt disobey them! Please, let me live, and Ill serve only you! Hannah turned to Wallace, who lay in bed, and remarked coldly, Dad, Amelies gone.

One more death wont make a difference.
