Unforgettable love

Chapter 810

Chapter 810:.

Dolores let out a laugh, seeing the hilarious look on Boyce’s face.

Boyce looked at Jasmine for a moment and then noticed the necklace around her neck. He hadn’t seen Jasmine wear this necklace before. She had never worn any jewelry like a necklace before. She instantly felt panic. All the male students at his school were the same age, and besides he was busy these past two months and didn’t have much at home.

He couldn’t say anything to Jasmine in front of so many people. So he just bit the bullet, “You can’t take other people’s stuff.”

Jasmine took a bite of her food and chewed slowly. “It was a wedding gift, so I can’t refuse it.”

Boyce’s face turned ugly, “She still gave it to you even though she knew you were married?”

Jasmine nodded.

Boyce pursed his lips, “Give it back. I’ll buy you anything you want.”

Jasmine couldn’t contain her laughter, “You really want me to give it back to Dolores?”

Boyce was speechless.

He looked up at Dolores.

Dolores looked back at him, “I gave it to her. I did it on purpose, just to give you a sense of crisis. Jasmine is young and beautiful, there must be boys chasing her in college. You have to be more attentive. You have to take it to heart, even if you are married.”

“Got it.” Boyce felt aggrieved. He had always been charming with Jasmine.

Seeing Boyce at a loss for words, Jasmine grabbed his hands from under the table. Earlier, she was still angry at him for not contacting her and stringing her along. But she softened when she saw his overwhelmed look.

Boyce squeezed her hand, his palm sweaty.

Jasmine and Boyce returned after dinner.

Jasmine sat in the passenger seat while Boyce drove. They were quiet and said nothing.

Jasmine clutched her seat belt to her chest and spoke first, “Don’t you have anything to say to me?”

Actually, Boyce had a lot of things to ask Jasmine, he just didn’t know how.

Jasmine sighed, “After you left that day, I woke up and you were already gone, you never called me. You just sent me a message, and…. forget it.”

He found there was no point in mentioning it now.

Boyce pulled the car over to the side of the road. He thought for a moment before saying, “So I was out of my depth.”

Jasmine looked down and said, “But you rarely got in touch with me after that. Was it so hard to text me to say hello and say you missed me?”

“Sometimes it’s very late, and I thought you’d be resting…”

“I’ve been waiting for you to get in touch with me every day.” Jasmine gave him a look, interrupting his words, her eyes filled with tears.

Boyce was instantly startled, seeing her on the verge of tears, “Jasmine, I’m sorry.”

Jasmine wiped the corners of her eyes, “Forget it.”

She knew he was like that when she was with him. There was nothing to complain about.

“Go home.”

She turned her head to look straight ahead.

Boyce blamed himself for seeing her cry and reached up to wipe away her tears, “It was an oversight on my part. I’ll call you when I have time…”.

Jasmine looked up at him, wrapped her arms around his neck, buried her face in the crook of his neck and choked, “I didn’t mean to get mad at you. It’s just that when you don’t get in touch with me, I can’t help but think that you don’t love me, that you don’t care about me, that you don’t want me…it’s just that we’ve been so close, and I just want you to care about me more…”

Boyce hugged her, stroking her back, “I miss you so much. I love you.”

“Why didn’t you call me then?” asked Jasmine.

Boyce had nothing to say, “It won’t happen again.”

Jasmine sniffled, “Will you call me?”

Boyce nodded, “Of course I will. Don’t cry.”

Jasmine wiped her tears and said, “Come on.”

Boyce let go of her, but didn’t immediately walk away. He was silent for a while before telling Jasmine, “I’ve learned my lesson.”

She was still young, and he left like that after he had made her into a woman. He understood that she felt terrible that he had not accompanied and contacted her.

“Tell me if you are unhappy. Sometimes I may not notice it, but you have to believe that I like you.” He, who was so at ease at work, felt lost and nervous when confronted by Jasmine.noveldrama

Jasmine emitted a “hmm,” “I know.”

It was too hard to get him to figure it out on his own. It was too direct.

“Let’s go home.” Jasmine said again, and Boyce started the car this time.

After a while, the car pulled into the parking lot of the neighborhood where they lived. The two got out of the vehicle and Boyce asked, “You said you have a lot of classes and need to stay in school. Is it because you’re mad at me?”

Jasmine laughed helplessly, “You just found that out, huh?” Boyce was speechless.

“Gee.” Jasmine held his arm, “Good. It’ll be fine when you get used to it.”

He was such a straight man. She just had to love the man she had chosen.

He was boring, so then he’d just let her take the lead.

She deserved it for loving him.

Boyce pressed the button for her floor after entering the elevator. There was no one in the elevator. Jasmine stood on tiptoe and kissed his lips, asking, “Do you miss me?”

Boyce swallowed saliva, illustrating his mood at that moment. How could he not miss her?

As the saying goes, “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Not to mention he had been single for a long time, how much did he miss her?

He wrapped his arm around Jasmine’s waist and pulled her into his arms, stroking her head.

The elevator stopped with a clink and they stepped out of it.
