Yesterday, Alaric really enjoyed a day with Stellan, but today he has to officially return to work.

"Are you in such a hurry to leave the company?" Alaric tried to persuade her to stay. "Your hospital isn't built yet, so you could stay at Nexus Innovations for a few more days."

Stellan said, "No, I truly don't have the capability. You have no idea how much pressure I've been under as the acting director. Especially after the accident at the jewelry company's site, I've been on edge constantly. Now that you're finally back, I can't wait to leave. I'd rather return to my comfortable life as a doctor."

"Alright, it must have been tough for you." Alaric looked at the items and asked,noveldrama

"Where should we start the handover, honey?"

Stellan said, "Let's go through it item by item."

Although Alaric and Stellan were married, the handover of work still needed to follow company procedures, with board members supervising the process.

Alaric said, "Stay safe at Rowena's. I'll come pick you up after work." Stellan nodded. "Okay."

Before Stellan left, Alaric hugged her and kissed her on the lips, then let her go.

After Stellan left, Alaric officially got back to work. It felt like a long time since he had sat in this chair.

Now that he was fully recovered, he could focus on his work and gradually investigate the case he wanted to solve. He was still full of hope for the future!

Stella said, "I just finished the handover with Alaric and had nothing to do, so I thought I'd come see you. Since you're not home, never mind."

Stella said, "No need. You guys focus on your class. It's my fault for not giving you a heads-up. I'll head to Reassuring Clinic. Talk to you later."

It must have been Cormac who insisted on taking Rowena to have prenatal classes. It was his first time being a dad and Cormac was realy excited and cautious.

After leaving the entertainment center, Stellan checked the time. It was still early, so she decided to go to Reassuring Clinic, as she hadn't been there in a while.

Shortly after the car started, her phone rang. It was Josep calling.

"Josep."

"Galatea, am I interrupting your work?" Josep asked politely.

Stellan said, "No, now that Alaric is better, I've handed over all the work at Nexus Innovations to him. I have nothing to do now."

"Great. It's about the same issue as last time," Josep said. "You might have been too busy and forgotten, so..."

Last time, after Josep mentioned it on the phone, she was about to contact Tommy, but Alaric wouldn't let her. He said he wanted to find Tommy himself. They hadn't discussed it since, so she didn't know if he had found Tommy.

Stellan asked, "Still can't reach Tommy?"
