"You're emotionally unstable right now. Take a shower and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow, we'll discuss the divorce."

Freya spoke the word "divorce" with an indifferent tone.

Nathaniel clenched his teeth and stared at Freya fiercely. "Why?"

"Freya, why do you think of leaving me? Do you think you can find someone better than me?

"Sawyer is just a useless person. How could he be compared to me?

"And what makes you think that I can't live without you, Nathaniel? "

Freya realized that Nathaniel was being unreasonable and that continuing the discussion at this moment was futile; his state of mind was simply not conducive to a serious conversation.

She forced a smile and said, "Nathaniel, you're mistaken. I've never looked down on you."

"Even when you single-handedly caused upheaval to the Gomez family, I never looked down on you. You've always been powerful and have always dominated my life."

"My happiness and sorrow have depended on your whims, Nathaniel. When you wanted me, you showered me with affection; when you didn't, you discarded me as if I were worthless."

"I'm a person too, and I understand pain. We've been through so much together. Sometimes, we grow weary and resentful of each other. If that's the case, it's best for both of us to let go."

"There are some things that don't need to be spelled out. We both have our pride."

"Nathaniel, I hope you take care of yourself in the future. Don't drink too much, and try not to lose your temper. Your heart really can't handle it. Please take care of yourself and don't act so childishly. If you use your health to elicit my sympathy, let me make it clear: the more you do that, the more I will look down on you."

"Take a shower, sober up, and we'll meet at the law firm tomorrow. I'll give you the address in the morning. We need to sit down and talk."

Freya was surprised by how composed she was when she mentioned the divorce. Despite her calm demeanor, she still felt a pang of discomfort inside. She had once loved Nathaniel deeply, to the point where she was willing to abandon her entire family to be with him. She had loved him so much that she lost her sense of self.

After delivering her message, Freya turned and walked out, closing the door behind her with a click.

Nathaniel felt an intense coldness, his entire body shivering. He collapsed onto the edge of the bed, clutching his chest and struggling to breathe through the pain.

Outside the elevator, Freya instructed Ozzy, "Go check on the president. I'm worried about his condition. Also, bring some ointment; I hit him on the forehead."

Ozzy's eyes widened slightly. It was clear that their clash had been more than just a minor argument, it was a full-blown explosion.

He thanked her and hurried back. He knocked gently on the door, but there was no response from inside. Feeling anxious, Ozzy asked Della for the room code.

He carefully opened the door. The room was dimly lit, with the lights off. Neon lights from the street filtered through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a play of light and shadow.

Nathaniel sat on the balcony floor, his legs drawn up, staring blankly into space. "Nathaniel, are you alright?" Ozzy asked quickly.

Nathaniel sat there like a statue, motionless. Ozzy approached cautiously, finding that while Nathaniel was still alive, he appeared to be utterly defeated.

Nathaniel took a deep breath and, with a voice full of helplessness and uncertainty, asked, "Do you think she ever loved me? How could she say such heartless things and leave without a second thought? I did so much for her... Never mind let's not talk about it."

Ozzy struggled to find the right words to offer comfort, unsure how to address the complexities of the situation between Nathaniel and Freya.
